Out With The Old

There have been many great advances in wind generation in the last decade.

I am sure you have seen the old three prong wind farms in your travels. These towers are dangerous to wildlife and take up vast amounts of space. They are noisy and innefficient compared to the new age of wind generation. If you look at the left side of the picture and compare it to the right side of the picture the difference is obvious.

These new systems are asthetically more pleasing and can be put in neighborhoods, on top of buildings and apartment complexes, just about anywhere. They are easy to assemble and transport, have less moving parts and are environemtally friendly to wildlife. The interior space can be utilized for storage including battery storage for the power you might need when the wind is not blowing or if you have a hybrid system when the wind or sun is not cooperating.
